Baptism

A baptism takes place in Heilig Kreuz about every two weeks.

• The baptismal ceremonies begin at 3:00 pm on Saturday and last for approximately 30-45 minute. In general, baptisms are performed by one ceremony, although more than one child can be baptized.
• If the appointment is occupied only by four children, an additional baptism ceremony can take place on the Sunday following at 3:00 P.M.
• Parents have the option of choosing their baptism ceremony location (e.g. You can either choose your home church as the place or your time. convenient date).
• You can administer baptism in any service, including Sunday mass. By arrangement, in Sunday Mass Easter Vigil also has special significance. Some couples choose to have their baby baptized at the same time as their wedding.
• We are generally open for all other appointments. We are also open to other appointments.
